Kensington, despite a certain influx of hipsters here and there, has always been a shithole, and currently operates as North America’s largest outdoor heroin market.
Honestly, after about 30 years of continuous improvement and development, the whole city seems to have been back sliding recently. I expect more neighborhoods to be Kensington-ized in the not too distant future.

My childhood neighbor/family friend got hooked on heroin while living in that neighborhood in Philly. He was a artisan welder making custom furniture and now he looks for a fix. Fun stuff!

Not ALL of America is full of trash and drugs and more trash and yet more drugs. I found this picture in my photos of a random alley that probably would have been blocked by heaps of garbage in a different city.
Also, what exactly was the point of that video? Just street pans?
